Cary is passionate about sustainability and the preservation of natural habitat. He also cares deeply about arts education, and hopes that the future will see an expansion of children’s arts program, as opposed to the current trend. During the first stage of his cross-country unicycle trip, Cary raised over $3,000 for the charities International Child Art Foundation, Greenpeace, and Sy’s Fund, a cancer charity that provides creative assistance to young adults with cancer. He will continue to raise money along his trek for these causes, and he will continue to give his “Get Out There” talks to low-income and rural elementary schools free of charge. Cary believes in empowerment. He stands for self-empowerment and empowerment of others in all that he does. Onward!
