Cary James Gray Art

Children's Author & Illustrator

Cary has never been one to follow the beaten path, and his children’s book is no exception. Written for grades K-3, this story reminds kids that anything is possible, and that the best way to learn about the world is to see it for yourself. In keeping with his belief that we should be empowering forces in each other’s lives, Cary illustrated the entire book with his feet. He believes it will inspire kids both abled and disabled to follow their dreams without a wink of hesitation. “Luno!” follows the story of a head-strong and independent boy named Luno, who decides he wants to ride on one wheel to South America. He faces fear-mongering and lack of geographical knowledge from big people, a deadly hub-cap, and adversity in the form of weather and wild animals. But nothing deters the little man. To these challenges he simply says, “Onward!”
